Understand the record before you pledge.

Who is responsible

Ciorsdan Hibbert is the current operator of the initiative and contact for participant information: ciorsdanhibbert@gmail.com. No separate organisation or coalition is presented as the operator.

Purpose and choice

We record expressions of support, produce aggregate country and global counts, prevent obvious abuse, and administer corrections and withdrawal. A pledge can reveal a political opinion. The form therefore asks for explicit consent to record this expression of support. You can withdraw it.

Public display is a separate choice and is off by default. You can support the proposal without publishing your name. Consent does not commit you to an action date or materially different future terms.

What is collected

• A display name or alias, country, date/time and random record identifier.
• The pledge version, consent choice, public-display choice and moderation state.
• Abuse-prevention information, including a duplicate fingerprint and bot-check result. IP address and browser information are processed for request security; storage differs by backend and earlier records may contain hashed request fingerprints.
• A hash of the withdrawal secret, not the secret itself, for new pledges.

No email, phone, street address, employer or donation is required. Do not enter sensitive personal details in your alias.

What becomes public

Aggregate global and country totals are public. If you separately opt in, your display name, country and pledge date/time appear in the downloadable public list. If you do not opt in, no individual entry is published. A public list is not evidence that each entry is a unique verified person.

Earlier downloaded lists may include anonymous rows under the previous policy. Previously downloaded copies cannot necessarily be recalled.

Service providers and access

The site uses Cloudflare for hosting, security checks, storage and backups. Its security services process technical request information. Access to private records is restricted to the operator and authorised maintenance providers. The campaign does not sell participant information or use it for advertising.

Withdraw or correct a pledge

New pledges receive a private withdrawal code. Keep it safe: anyone holding it can withdraw that pledge. Use Withdraw a pledge to remove the active record and its contribution to the count. The code is not sent in a URL.

For an earlier pledge, a lost code, a correction or another data request, contact the operator with your alias, country and approximate date. Do not send identity documents. We may need limited additional information to locate and verify your request.

Retention and backups

Active pledge records are retained while the proposal is being reviewed and supported, unless withdrawn. Withdrawal removes the active personal entry. A minimal withdrawal marker is retained to prevent a delayed or retried submission from recreating it.

Restricted backups and provider recovery copies may retain earlier data until they expire or are replaced. Withdrawal must be reapplied before a backup is restored into active use. A fixed, verified backup-expiry period has not yet been published; contact the operator before pledging if this is material to your decision.

Your rights and complaints

You can ask about access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent as applicable. You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or another relevant supervisory authority. Material changes to the purpose, terms or operator will be published and assessed for renewed consent.
